about
2008 saw The Rebs open V Festival infront of thousands, sharing the stage with Kaiser Chiefs, The Zutons and Reverend and The Makers as winners of Channel 4's Road To V competition, picked ahead of 2,500 bands by top industry judges such as The Libertines Carl Barât and NME's Marc Beaumont.
2010 saw the release of their only album "In a Heartbeat" which received widespread praise and critical acclaim from the written press, including Classic Rock and Total Guitar magazines.
After an 8-year hiatus, 2018 sees them celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their performance at V Festival with the release of a brand new single, How Does It Feel?. Recorded in their own studio, the band took the deliberate decision to create a song reminiscent of the mid-00s indie rock glory years, which influenced the majority of the material they performed on Channel 4. Just don't call it a comeback.
lyrics
Hypnotised,
I can't get around if I see you,
Or if I feel you,
Well I cut the ties,
Along with the thoughts I would need you,
Or you would need me,
But it's hard to make the changes in your head,
It's hard to when you're lonely in your bed,
All these years but nothing left to show,
Oh can you tell me?
Can you let me know?
Tell me how does it feel?
Tell me how does it feel when you're on your own?
Tell me how does it feel?
Tell me how does it feel when you're on your own?
Cos I feel alone!
Another sun,
I don't even know what the day is,
Or what the time is,
But it's time to run,
It's hard when you don't feel like moving,
Or living,
But I try to bring myself up off the floor,
Staying in my bed won't find the cure,
Try to take my mind to better days,
Oh can you tell me?
Can you let me know?
Tell me how does it feel?
Tell me how does it feel when you're on your own?
Tell me how does it feel?
Tell me how does it feel when you're on your own?
I can't figure out if the world is round,
You can't get away of you're feeling down,
The voice inside my head it starts to sound,
Tell me how does it feel?
Tell me how does it feel when you're on your own?
Tell me how does it feel?
Tell me how does it feel when you're on your own?
Cos I feel alone
(I feel alone, I feel alone, I feel alone, I feel alone)
I feel alone
(I feel alone, I feel alone, I feel alone, I feel alone)
I feel alone
(I feel alone, I feel alone, I feel alone, I feel alone)
I feel alone
(I feel alone)
I feel alone
